Counselling is a talking therapy used to treat issues that present in a person's life that cannot be changed such as bereavement or a job loss. Both online and face-to-face therapy sessions are available with a highly qualified BABCP therapist.

CBT aims to make adjustments in your life to improve the way you act or behave to certain situation or stimuli. CBT is a therapy that is most commonly used to treat depression/anxiety. However, It is also used to treat a wide range of mental health ailments including addiction, OCD and self-esteem issues. Both online and face-to-face therapy sessions are available with a highly qualified BABCP therapist.

If you cancel your appointment 24 hours before it starts, then you will receive a full refund. However, If you cancel your appointment within the 24-hour period before the appointment is due, then you will be liable to pay the cost of the consultation. Both of these talking therapies are used to treat mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety. However, counselling focuses on encouragement and empathy through active listening. CBT therapist works with their patient to uncover the behavioural patterns that are linked to mental health symptoms. Once the links have been established, the CBT therapist works on practical changes that can break the link between unwanted behaviours and symptoms.
If the root cause of your mental health symptoms involve an event or a set of circumstances, you'll probably be advised to take the counselling route. Such events include bereavement, the loss of a job or the breakdown of a marriage.
