Alan Treharne is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in diagnostic ultrasound and patient-centred care. Based in Ceredigion, he has dedicated his career to improving women’s health services across Mid and West Wales. Extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing conditions such as heavy menstrual bleeding, post-menopausal bleeding, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, PCOS, fertility concerns, and menopause care. Highly qualified with a BSc (Hons) and MBBS from St. George’s, University of London, postgraduate training in London and Wales, and membership in the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG). Leader in gynaecological imaging as Honorary Treasurer of the British Society of Gynaecological Imaging (BSGI) and ultrasound module guardian for the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH).
We offer a wide range of gynaecology services for women at different life stages. From routine screenings to specialist diagnostic imaging, our services are designed to provide expert-led care without hospital visits.
