PSA Blood Test with DRE

Prostate PSA Blood Test with DRE Online Booking

This page is to book a PSA PROSTATE test appointment in clinic. Please be aware that payment will be required during the booking process.

PLEASE NOTE: To allow the efficient collection of samples from our clinic, please BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT BEFORE 15.45PM. Suitable for those OVER 18 years of age.

Our PSA testing service includes a blood test to measure prostate-specific antigen levels and a digital rectal examination (DRE) of the prostate. The combined approach enhances the detection of prostate abnormalities, such as cancer, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), or prostatitis. The DRE allows the doctor to physically check the size, shape, and texture of the prostate, complementing the PSA test for a more thorough evaluation of prostate health.

Important: It is recommended to avoid ejaculation for 24-48 hours before the test, as it can temporarily raise PSA levels and lead to inaccurate results. Also, avoid heavy physical activity, especially cycling or activities that put pressure on the prostate, for 48 hours prior to the test, as this may elevate PSA levels.

Please note that our courier collects tests samples at 15.30pm and that you need to BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT BEFORE 14.50PM. Suitable for those over 18 years of age. Please Click Continue to confirm you have read the above and to book your appointment online.
