This service offers rapid access to expert assessment of specific moles or skin lesions — no GP referral or prior consultation is required. During your appointment, a specially trained nurse will take high-quality clinical and dermatoscopic images . These images are reviewed by a Consultant Dermatologist, who will provide a written report within approximately three working days, including a diagnosis where possible and advice on any next steps.
Important: Please be aware that this is not a full-body mole-mapping or skin-screening service. It isn’t suitable for lesions on the genital area or sub-dermal lumps (for example, cysts or lipomas).

Using advanced dermatoscopic photography, trained nurses capture high-quality images of your mole or lesion, which are then securely reviewed and reported on by a consultant dermatologist. Most moles are harmless clusters of pigment-producing cells. It’s normal to develop new moles during childhood and teenage years; they may fade or disappear with age.

A = Asymmetry, B = Border irregularity, C = Colour variation, D = Diameter (over 6 mm), E = Evolution (changes over time).
Check your skin once a month so you’re familiar with what’s normal and can notice changes early.
