Yes. You can see a private GP in Cardiff while remaining registered with your NHS GP practice. We recommend maintaining your NHS registration for services only available through the NHS.
Registration isn't required to book. However, MyiGP membership plans are available for individuals, couples, and families, offering included appointments and reduced consultation costs. Plans start from £19 per month.
Register With iGPYour appointment with us is as confidential as you want it to be and we will not share your appointment information or medical records without your express permission. There may be circumstances, such as prescribing particular medications, where we will need to liaise with your NHS GP practice in order to prescribe. There may also be times where you would like use to inform your GP of a test result etc. However, we are not linked in any way to NHS systems and your information is kept totally separate.
We don't bill insurers directly. If your provider covers private GP services, we'll provide a full invoice so you can claim reimbursement.
If you cancel your appointment more than 24 hours before the scheduled time, you will receive a full refund. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment time will be charged in full. If you need to rearrange your appointment, please contact our team as soon as possible.
