At iGP, we provide access to experienced consultants in psychiatry who specialise in complex mental health conditions in both adolescents and adults. We offer initial psychiatric assessments and can provide onward referrals, bespoke care pathways, and expert opinions where further treatment, multidisciplinary support, or legal input may be required.
Our ADHD assessment package includes two core appointments:
Important: ADHD treatment requires careful titration and monitoring. As such, further follow-up appointments will be necessary to ensure safe and effective medication management. Each follow-up appointment will incur a separate consultation fee, and the frequency of these reviews will be discussed with you during your care planning. Treatment is available for children 11 years and above.

Dr. Mike Layton is a Consultant Psychiatrist specialising in complex neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric conditions, including ADHD and autism in adolescents and adults. With extensive experience across NHS and private sectors, he also provides expert medicolegal input in the Court of Protection, and contributes nationally through advisory and clinical leadership roles.

However, If you cancel your appointment within the 24 hour period before the appointment is due, then you will be liable to pay the cost of the consultation.
