What are Level Checks?

Level Checks are a selection of common blood tests or health screens available for you to test directly without the additional cost of a GP or clinical appointment.

Who are they for?

Our level checks are suitable for patients that don't initially need clinical intervention. Level Checks can be requested without a consultation and results outside of the standard range are highlighted to indicate if intervention or interpretation is required.

• It could be that you know that you need a specific test, but don't need to consult with a GP first. For instance, you are already working with a consultant who has requested that you have a thyroid test. You can simply book our Thyroid Level Check and the results are sent to you directly.
• It could be that you feel like you are generally in good health and just want to check that your *biomarkers are within a standard range. If any of your levels are outside of the standard range, these will be highlighted on your results and you can then arrange an appointment with your GP or one of our doctors to address the concern.

* A biomarker is a measurable biological indicator that can help doctors and clinicians diagnose diseases, monitor health, and track responses to treatment.

How does it work?

Simply book your appointment online or by contacting us directly. At the time of booking, you will be emailed a pre-appointment questionnaire, which you can complete online. You will then visit an iGP clinic for your blood test (and physical examination if appropriate). Suitable for those over 18 years of age.

How will I get my results?

Following your appointment you will receive an electronic report clearly detailing your test results, how they compare to a healthy range, the implications and recommended next steps. Test result reports are shared via our secure patient portal, usually within 72 hours (results can take longer depending on the test you requested).

Level Check Testing & Health Screens

Please be aware that this is a blood testing/examination service only. If you want the results interpreted, you would need to take your results to your own clinician or arrange a follow-up private GP appointment with an iGP doctor. All results outside the standard testing range will be highlighted on your results. Your results will also include a link to book an online appointment if you wish to discuss your results with one of our doctors. There will be a consultation fee for this appointment, but the appointment is not required.
