A hormonal imbalance could be the root cause of the symptoms you're experiencing. By checking your female hormone levels through a quick blood test, you can find out for sure and seek the necessary treatment.
Detecting an imbalance in your LH, FSH, testosterone, SHBG, thyroid hormones or oestrogen levels is often the first step towards tackling your symptoms for good. Whether you suspect menopause or an underlying health condition, getting answers quickly will give your doctor the information needed to formulate a treatment plan or perform more detailed investigations.
One of the key indicators of menopause is oestradiol, which is a form of female sex hormone that's crucial to the production of eggs. When this hormone is in short supply, women can become susceptible to bone loss and high cholesterol levels. If oestradiol levels are too high, however, another set of symptoms can occur. Either way, it's best to have a blood test as soon as possible.
Whether you're experiencing symptoms related to female hormone imbalances or you need to check whether or not your hormone therapy is working, a quick blood test at your nearest iGP clinic will give you answers.
The faster you get a female hormone imbalance diagnosed, the faster you can start treatment and alleviate your symptoms. If you're experiencing the symptoms listed below, now is the time to get checked out:
