An hCG pregnancy test measures the level of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in your blood or urine, a hormone that is produced during pregnancy. When a fertilized egg implants in the uterus, hCG levels start to rise, making it a reliable indicator of early pregnancy. Blood hCG tests can detect pregnancy earlier than home urine tests and can also measure the exact level of hCG, which can help monitor the progression of the pregnancy or detect potential concerns.
iGP provide a HPV Smear (+PAPT if Positive) test, where we only test PAPT Cervical Cytology if the HPV test is positive (as per NHS Smear test). However, you can also request to have the PAPT included, irrespective of the HPV result.

If you cancel your appointment 24 hours before it starts, then you will receive a full refund. However, If you cancel your appointment within the 24 hour period before the appointment is due, then you will be liable to pay the cost of the consultation. If you do need to reschedule please contact us as soon as possible.
