At our clinic, we offer GP-led testing services for patients who may be experiencing symptoms or feel the need for a health check but are unsure which test is appropriate. Our experienced GPs will assess your symptoms, discuss your concerns, and recommend the most suitable tests based on your individual needs. After the testing, you will receive a comprehensive review of your results along with clear, expert guidance on any next steps. This personalised approach ensures that you receive the right tests and professional clinical input to help you better understand and manage your health.
* Important: Please be aware that this is a GP consultation to establish if a test is required and then which test is most appropriate based on your concerns and/or symptoms. The test appointment fee and test fee is not included.
If you are looking for a specific blood test, IGP offer an extensive range of blood tests via two of the UK's largest private laboratories. Some tests will be less expensive by having it as part of a profile or group of tests. Our nurses can take samples for use at another lab or assist with home testing kits.

Simply book your appointment online or by contacting us directly. At the time of booking, you will be emailed a pre-appointment questionnaire, which you can complete online. You will then visit an iGP clinic for your blood test (and physical examination if appropriate). Suitable for those over 18 years of age.

Attend your appointment where the doctor advise suitable testing related to your concerns. We will discuss the cost of the test with you and ,if you are happy to proceed, we will arrange an appointment with the nurse to conduct the recommended test.

Once we have your test results our doctor will contact you to discuss your tests results and explain how they relate to your concerns. We will also provide advice on what the next steps would be, whether that is treatment, lifestyle adjustments or further testing.
iGP's focus is on the quality of care for our patients. This means that we want to make the process of seeing a private doctor in clinic as simple and pleasant experience as possible. Our clinics in Cardiff, Carmarthen, Newport & Swansea are conveniently located, with free parking and disabled access. We can also provide a chaperone during your appointment if required.
If you cancel your appointment 24 hours before it starts, then you will receive a full refund. However, If you cancel your appointment within the 24 hour period before the appointment is due, then you will be liable to pay the cost of the consultation. If you do need to reschedule please contact us as soon as possible.
