We offer a variety of comprehensive health screens, each including numerous tests designed to assess different aspects of your health. Feeling tired all the time is not normal. It can affect your mental health, your professional life, your relationships and your overall wellbeing. In most cases, better sleep will drastically reduce tiredness. But if there's an underlying cause of your chronic tiredness, a blood test might uncover it - or at least give your physician an idea of how to investigate the problem.
When you book a private blood test to investigate chronic tiredness, our clinicians will look for a range of markers. Depending on what we find, we may advise a course of treatment or submit you for further tests.
There are countless possible causes of perpetual tiredness, ranging from vitamin deficiencies to heart disease. By identifying and measuring key markers such as iron, glucose, red blood cells, potassium, lymphocyte counts and platelet counts, we can rule out possible causes and fine-tune medical investigations.
When we analyse your blood sample in one of our labs, we'll look for markers related to your:
Iron health
Full blood count
Diabetes health
Kidney health
Liver health
Nutritional health
Bone health
Thyroid health
If you're sleeping well and haven't been diagnosed with a condition that can cause chronic tiredness, booking a blood test at an iGP clinic could give your clinician an idea of what's causing your problem.
Our 'tired all the time' blood test is designed to search for a range of key markers that can help us to determine which areas of your health require investigating. People experience tiredness in different ways - and to differing extents. You may also be suffering from a few related symptoms, including:
Headaches
Dizziness
Muscle soreness and weakness
Mood swings
Anxiety and depression
Concentration problems
Memory problems
Impaired judgement
