£TBD Time: 2 hoursThe iGP Wellness Medical is a comprehensive "MOT" premium health assessment designed to provide a complete picture of your health. Focusing on early illness detection, it empowers you to take proactive steps, understand your health, reduce future risks, and make informed decisions to improve overall wellbeing. This assessment goes beyond testing, providing you with information and motivation for lasting health improvements.
The Pre-Medical Assessment allows an iGP nurse to conduct a questionnaire and schedule your in-clinic appointments at a time that suits you. The questionnaire provides valuable insights into your health by gathering information on medical history, lifestyle, and any existing conditions. Completing it accurately helps healthcare professionals identify risks early, tailor advice and treatments to your needs, and monitor health changes over time.
A nurse-led examination is crucial for assessing your health. By measuring key indicators, the nurse gathers data on your current physical condition, which helps detect health issues early, guide further investigations, and provide a baseline for monitoring changes. Professional and accurate observations ensure a thorough assessment, enabling personalised care and promoting long-term wellbeing.
The GP-led examination ensures a thorough evaluation of your health. The GP conducts heart, lung, and abdominal exams to detect abnormalities or early signs of disease. Additional ear, throat, and musculoskeletal assessments evaluate your overall physical condition and identify potential concerns. Cancer awareness checks, including breast, testicular, and prostate exams, help detect warning signs early.
iGP's exclusive 120-point pathology blood test uses advanced diagnostic techniques to analyse your samples. These tests provide healthcare professionals with essential data to make informed decisions about your care, monitor changes, and promptly address potential health concerns, leading to better outcomes.
A complete list of included tests is included in our Wellness Medical Guide. Simply click the link below and a separate pdf document will open, which lists all the tests included in our Wellness Medical.
The findings and recommendations in your health assessment report are essential for understanding your current health and taking proactive steps toward improved wellbeing. This report summarises results from physical exams, pathology tests, and observations, offering a clear picture of your health. Based on these findings, personalised recommendations are made to address risks or concerns, such as lifestyle changes, further testing, or specific treatments. Following these recommendations allows you to take informed actions to improve health, prevent potential issues, and maintain long-term wellness.
Once you’ve received and reviewed your report, we will contact you to arrange a follow-up consultation. During this consultation, the doctor will offer advice on any observations needing attention and provide recommendations for improvement. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions regarding the findings.
The iGP Wellness Medical includes a 1-hour appointment with one of our experienced nurses, who will perform physical observations and undertake the necessary pathology tests. It also includes a 1-hour appointment with a doctor, who will conduct additional physical examinations and review your questionnaire to address any current concerns. Your ECG will be reviewed by a cardiologist, and once you have received your comprehensive report detailing your findings, we will arrange a follow-up appointment with the doctor to discuss the results and provide any advice or treatment as required.

The Wellness Medical is suitable for all adults, though the importance and frequency of this comprehensive assessment increase with age. We recommend those over 40 have an "MOT" style health assessment every 5 years, and those over 60 every 1 to 2 years.
It is not advised for individuals who are symptomatic or have an existing condition they wish to investigate. For these cases, we recommend a consultation with one of our doctors to focus on symptoms or arrange pathology specific to the condition. While our tests are comprehensive and may highlight areas contributing to current symptoms, the Wellness Medical is designed to offer an overall picture of your health. If any issues are identified, we will focus on those areas and offer appropriate advice.
The Wellness Medical costs £999. Additional tests and screenings can be added to make your assessment more comprehensive. Please use the link below to download our Wellness Medical Guide for full details of what is included.
